Diana Villiers Negroponte has taught Latin American History and U.S. foreign policy at Georgetown University, Fordham University and George Washington University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from The London School of Economics, a Juris Doctor degree from American University and a Ph.D. from Georgetown University.
