Qatar Under-23 football team players taking part in a training session ahead of the match against Palestine
Changzhou, China: Almoez Ali continued his stunning form but Qatar had to survive a mighty scare by Palestine before prevailing 3-2 to book their place in the semifinals of the AFC U23 Championship in Changzhou China.
Almoezs double and Hisham Alis second-half strike had given Qatar a 3-0 lead but Palestine came back into the match after Oday Dabbagh scored in the 6oth minute, before Mohamed Darwish added a second to give Qatar a nervy last few minutes.
Qatar will meet either Iraq or Vietnam in the last four on Tuesday. (QNA)
