Ambassador Pierre accredited to Ethiopia
Ambassador David Pierre presented his credentials to Ethiopian President His Excellency Dr Mulatu Teshome in a ceremony held in the Red Room of the National Palace on 9th August 2017.
After presenting his credentials, President Teshome and Ambassador Pierre discussed issues of visa waiver, trade relationship and bilateral cooperation between Seychelles and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The parties agreed to elevate the current relationship to further consolidate the relations between their two countries.
Ambassador Pierre will later present his credentials to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC) and the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) as well as to the Heads of State of other countries falling under the diplomatic jurisdiction of the Seychelles Mission in Addis Ababa.
