Chancellor Angela Merkel is paying a working visit to Bulgaria

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is paying a working visit to Bulgaria today at the invitation of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.
The two will discuss the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU as well topical issues from the political agenda, the government press service has announced. After the talks Angela Merkel and Boyko Borissov will make statements, which the Bulgarian National Radio’s Horizont channel will broadcast live.
One day before her meeting with PM Borissov, Chancellor Merkel was in Paris where she discussed the priorities and the future of Europe with French President Emmanuel Macron.
